Na-Koja-Abad

For Muamer Music, the man behind the Na-Koja-Abad project, music is one of the most sincere expressions that the human is capable of. It is a gift of this life to him, not unlike a subtle, visceral means of stationary motion, of traveling without moving. Tribal ambient music by a true master.

(BWR044) Na-Koja-Abad - Nomad: Outworld

With a sonic tapestry of generated algorithmic soundscapes, granular textures, and vector waves and washes, Nomad: Outworld is a long-form ambient journey into steady drones, brooding undertones, and somber atmosphere.

(BWR043) Na-Koja-Abad - Dreamfall: Veils and Visions

Dreamfall: Veils and Visions is a subtle concoction of visceral, mesmerizing soundscapes, deep, meditative drones, dark textures, and hypnotic, ethno-tribal instrumentation. Bordering between the sensual and the mystical, Dreamfall, with its dense atmospherics and evolving drumscapes, is always immersive and immensely evocative.

Numerous ethnic instruments, including hand-drums, winds and vocals, organic soundscapes, textures and drones are craftily employed to convey entrancing images and a sense of primeval forests, cloudy expanses and shamanic spaces.

Na-Koja-Abad\'s most engaging release to date, Dreamfall is augmented by guest appearances of Max Corbacho, Spanish ambient musician, and Aida Mocevic, vocalist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dreamfall is available as a limited custom edition with twigs, leaves and vine, and a booklet with descriptive poetic writing by the artist himself. Each copy is a carefully decorated and unique collector\'s item.

(BWR030) Na-Koja-Abad - Black Serpent Dreaming: Rites of Passage

Black Serpent Dreaming: Rites of Passage is a portrayal of an immense cave dwelling, its dark, solemn walls painted with mystical stories long forgotten, still breathing and echoing with forsaken rites of eons long passed, primeval essence still seething through the deep crevices within.

With approximately 60 different layers of sound overall, the record is one of the most complex, evocative and vivid pieces in Na-Koja-Abad's catalogue, with plenty of variation throughout, and a vast amount of organic, incidental and percussive sounds.

(BWR029) Na-Koja-Abad - Deluvia

Movement in suspension best describes Deluvia, Na-Koja-Abad's fifth album, with its deep, meditative drones, dark ambient washes and effects, and ethereal soundscapes. These contemplative subterranean and submarine spaces are only occasionally intertwined with effective passages of down-tempo, organic, tribal grooves.

Although seemingly still and devoid of change, immersed in a moment, like the depths of oceans and primeval caverns, the images of which they evoke, the sounds of Deluvia slowly shift, morph, and evolve in a continuous, hypnotic ebb and flow.

(BWR028) Na-Koja-Abad - Fleeting Glimpses

Capturing "fleeting glimpses" of a surreal expanse of suspended twilight, this album is a lush tapestry of complex organic tribal rhythms intertwined with dark, drifting soundscapes drenched in primeval essence, and processed field ambiences. It is a subtle, throbbing fusion of movement and suspension, a frozen frame of a paradoxical elsewhere and elsewhen, shrouded in a waking dream.
